When I first arrived at Liberty House, I was extremely anxious and also going through withdrawal symptoms. It was a very difficult moment for me, but the staff and my peers made me feel very comfortable from the very beginning. Their patience, reassurance and understanding helped calm and situation that could easily have felt overwhelming. As the treatment went on, I felt genuinely supported every step of the way. The therapists helped me open up about things I'd kept to myself for years and the routines and group sessions gave me structure. My peers played a huge role too, knowing that others understood exactly what I was feeling made me feel less alone and more hopeful. I gained not just treatment and care from Liberty house, but also confidence. I learned real tools that I can use in everyday life, I finally feel I am moving forward instead of just trying to get through each day. I'm truly grateful to the staff and to the people I met here for helping me start this new chapter in my life. I'm also grateful for the lovely food made by Love, with so much love. Thank you xx
The staff are by far the highlight of the experience. The therapists are very good at their jobs, and supporting staff make you feel safe. We were well fed, supported, and looked after.

Had lovely time here and made friends I will have for life and the techniques and support is excellent as well. The staff are all generally brilliant and I could name basically everyone if I was dropping names. Some things could always be better but I have had an excellent time here with a lot of laughs and also serious experiences, and this place has helped me grow tremendously as a person. What an amazing place, all the staff are amazing, Love and Gloria are great cooks providing healthy tasty meals. I would thoroughly recommend Liberty House.
I was very ill when I was submitted to Liberty Hause for alcohol detox treatment. After completing the treatment I feel I can live again. Thank you all the staff for looking after me and bringing me back to life. So grateful Halina
