Coming to Banbury lodge has been the best experience in my recovery so far, it has been the missing link that was the crucial element to set me free from the obsession of addiction, allowing me to live a life of freedom. I would recommend every person to grab the opportunity of coming to Banbury lodge with both hands. The fellowship of the community was liberating, and the therapy team gave me incredible support and gave me the ability to live life happily on my own two feet without the need to depend on other people through the DBT process and the 12 steps of recovery. I can now live life on life’s terms with ease, I feel reborn.
I highly recommend Banbury Lodge. All the staff, therapists and support were amazing, I felt safe, understood and valued from the minute I came through the door. Throughout my stay there has always been someone to support me day or night, when I have been struggling and this has been hugely facilitative to my recovery. It has exceeded my expectations.
There is no doubt in my mind that if it wasn't for Oasis Runcorn I would have continued on the path of self destruction that I was on to the bitter end. The therapy team have managed to do something in my life that i would have thought impossible just 12 weeks ago. If you do as suggested in this environment you can achieve something incredibly worthwhile. The support staff are always there to facilitate any reasonable request but are also aware enough to deny requests that would hamper a residents progress. The food is really good and the cleaning staff do an excellent job despite having to clean up after some very messy people. It could quite easily be 5 stars in this respect. What i will say is that the Centre looks a little tired and worn and needs a bit of attention. I had to wait 10 days to get in here. So, again it could have been 5 stars. Definitely the best thing I have ever done.
I went in to Bradford just before Christmas Oasis absolutely broken thinking it would be a grim 10 days and it turned out to be probably the best experience of my life. It changed my life and now I'm coming up to 5 months clean. There's some amazing people who work there and thanks again for all your help.
I think it's well run and staff are great, it it's something you're thinking about doing then just do it. Any fears you might have it gets dealt with quite quick and staff are very approachable.
All staff were amazing and supportive, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The chefs cooking was Michelin star quality.
