The time spent here was well worthwhile. All of the staff were wonderful and my peers were friendly and helpful throughout the course. The accommodation and food were excellent. Gaynor and all of the therapists have left me well prepared for the rest of my recovery.
I found this place faultless, staff are amazing and my therapist Gaynor was amazing. I've been humbled by the staff and peers, people are so respectful, I've been glad I met the people I have even though I will not see them again, this place saved my life.
I didn't know what to expect when I came here but I was pleasantly surprised. I very quickly felt a part of a supportive and friendly community. The lower dining room always looked a little more drab than the upstairs kitchen so may need a little updating. I felt that the facilities in that particular kitchen was lacking. With regards to food - maybe a good suggestion would be to have additional healthy options?
I wasn't originally looking forward to the group stuff due to isolating but this has been one of my favourite parts. The support I received from Phoebe and my peers has been most useful. I think the building needs updating and with regards to the food some of it hasn't been up to standard.
I have found that I could actually talk to Phoebe she's so approachable and understanding. I have loved meeting all the people and learning from them. It's nice to know you're not alone.
