Banbury Lodge is a truly incredible place. I have had the fortunate opportunity to spend some time here and I can say with confidence it has massively helped me with my addiction. I now have the ability and tools to go out and start a new chapter in recovery. I can’t thank the team enough for everything they have done.
It has been great, I have enjoyed my whole experience while being in treatment. I would recommend Banbury Lodge to anyone with addiction or ED. The staff are very welcoming and supportive, and they never judge and they always give positive feedback, all the things you need to hear. Also, the food is amazing, the group sessions are astounding as you can really open up and become honest. The peers are also very welcoming as they are in the same boat as you. The step work is really beneficial, as it gives a lot of insight on addiction. Overall I have been so happy with my experience at BL If I had the opportunity I would come here again but that won’t be the case as I have been taught so many valuable tools which I now have to permanently stay clean and sober and you will learn them too.
My time at Banbury lodge has been one of the best experiences I have ever had this place has given me hope and light into a new sober life the support from the therapists , staff and peers has been what I can only describe as incredible and such a caring nature they really do care. I do believe this was the best decision I have ever made in my life.
My stay at Banbury has been nothing short of transformational! All of the staff (especially Olaf) have been amazing. Their depth of knowledge is huge and the programme used has brought insights into my behaviour that will definitely help me on the road to recovery. It has been a voyage of self discovery that I wish I’d done sooner and most certainly could not have done without all the team at Banbury Lodge. I left a changed person, clean, sober and armed with tools to keep it that way for the future. I cannot recommend Banbury Lodge enough. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions but the team are there every step of the way and are so supportive that, as long as you are willing and open minded, they will help you change your habits, outlook and give you your life back!
I came in only thinking I had a cocaine problem, and I found out that I had other addictions, which helped me learn more about myself. I feel like if I did not learn these things then I would not have been able to address or understand them. I have been able to recognise that these things have driven my cocaine addiction, so I truly believe Banbury Lodge has saved my life. I would like to give a shout out to Caroline and Olaf.
Coming to Banbury lodge has been the best experience in my recovery so far, it has been the missing link that was the crucial element to set me free from the obsession of addiction, allowing me to live a life of freedom. I would recommend every person to grab the opportunity of coming to Banbury lodge with both hands. The fellowship of the community was liberating, and the therapy team gave me incredible support and gave me the ability to live life happily on my own two feet without the need to depend on other people through the DBT process and the 12 steps of recovery. I can now live life on life’s terms with ease, I feel reborn.
I highly recommend Banbury Lodge. All the staff, therapists and support were amazing, I felt safe, understood and valued from the minute I came through the door. Throughout my stay there has always been someone to support me day or night, when I have been struggling and this has been hugely facilitative to my recovery. It has exceeded my expectations.

I found that all of the staff were attentive and caring, with a very good understanding of the issues that I was going through. They were always more than happy to go the extra mile to ensure I was happy, comfortable and safe. The staff were always checking in to see if I was okay.
All the staff at Banbury Lodge have been amazing at helping me with my recovery from addiction, from the therapists to the support staff to the receptionist, they have all played a big part in making me feel comfortable. The food is very good also, the lounge is amazing as it has helped us all gel together in the evenings. There has been alot of support from everyone in relation to how I will continue my recovery outside of Banbury Lodge. Olaf has been an amazing therapist who has helped me process my emotions and traumas and has allowed me to open up to someone for the first time without judgement.
