I was a client at Banbury Lodge for 28 days primarily for Eating Disorder treatment, along with issues regarding alcohol. I had an extremely positive experience at Banbury Lodge and feel that I have benefited massively from the tight schedule of group therapy and workshops, alongside 2 1-1 therapy sessions a week (as part of the ED programme). As I suffer with ARFID, I have many complex food needs and was thoroughly impressed with how accommodating Kat (the chef) and Nick (the manager) were. I did feel that the workshops and sessions were largely focussed towards alcohol and drug addiction, however, I was able to exercise the skills learnt towards fighting against my eating disorder. Being taught to view my ED as an addiction has been massively helpful. If you are motivated and put the work in, I believe you can gain a lot out of your stay at Banbury Lodge.

Recovery Lighthouse is an excellent place for detox and rehab. The staff and counselors are professional and friendly, the environment relaxed and safe.

On the whole very good but a few bad experiences

My treatment has been brilliant. Amazing support from staff and peers, I have really come out of my shell.

The staff were friendly and helpful; I was treated with respect during my stay here. The educational workshops were helpful and I had a supportive set of peers. The accommodation was really nice.

Upon arival i were greeted warmly, staff have been brilliant. Food is amazing. All facilities provided including a clean room. Really enjoyed yoga and music group. I would highly reccomend.

Living facilities were great food was good lack of communication between staff

I cannot express in words how much it has meant for me to come here. I will be sad to leave, however I feel I have the tools, knowledge and faith within myself to move on in my life without the use of alcohol. The staff have been supportive and caring. I have enjoyed the groups and have attended meetings outside. I am sad to leave, I will miss my new found friends.

Receiving treatment here saved my life and has woken me up again.
