Having just finished my 28 day stay at Primrose Lodge I now feel I now have enough tools to carry on my journey of sobriety. Great staff and made great new friends.

I arrived at Oasis broken, drunk and desperate. I have spent the past 28 days attending meetings, learning about my strengths and also adopting strategies that will help aid me in being sober for life. The staff have been fantastic and I feel that they could not have done any more for me or my journey. I am so glad I made the decision to attend the Oasis Centre and would not hesitate to recommend it going forward, for detox, rehab or both.
I came into Linwood House being very naive as to 3 weeks and I would be all good, as a professional person, I saw myself as a functioning heavy drinker how wrong I was. I went through the Linwood House Rehab Group Therapy and it soon became apparent with the expert guidance I was given, a lot of work from both sides was needed to get me to where I needed to be just like anyone with an addiction. I received absolutely exceptional professional guidance and support from my therapist Anna to whom I owe so much gratitude to be able to move my life forward in the right direction, this made me realise and understand this is an illness I was enduring, I did'nt even think it was an illness and disease which as we know it is. I have received total support from everyone at Linwood House which has aided my road to recovery. Making the decision to come into Linwood therapy has been one of the best decisions in my life. I leave, more confident, happier, healthier than I have been in a very long time, more importantly, I am educated and ready to move forward with my life using the techniques and education I have gained. I will always be grateful for the therapy I have received and a very big factor was the people I met who are all there for the same reason, the genuine support, guidance, confidence and tears we all shared have aided my journey in the most positive way ever.
