The 27 days I spent in linwood house has help me realise my addiction has taken over my full life. I can't thank my peers and therapists enough a will never forget my time here and will always speak highly of my treatment here thanks for everything.
There program and all thr staff are top tier it gave me the tools to really hit my recovery the best I can I am so thankful to gaynar my therapist she help me and my family so much God bless you all recovery comes before anything
At first I did not have a clue or wanted to get involved, but after I met Gaynor, my very good therapist she explained what it is all about for a life of sobriety, she had an amazing understanding of it, I was made go feel relaxed. The programme and coming to rehab saved my life and worth every penny.the staff were all good and approachable, it was friendly, peers were friendly. The main thing linwood did for me was helped me to connect to my higher power. I am so thankful to all staff, facilities and programme, I do thank my therapist Gaynor she has helped me and my family.
On arrival I was apprehensive about going into rehab for the first time not knowing what to expect. The staff were welcoming and soon made me feel like I was in safe hands. After a thorough search and a consultation with the doctor Claire in admissions showed me to my en-suite room with my own TV, desk, single bed and shower. I was then introduced to my therapist Gaynor who guided me step by step through my recovery, offering professional advice and emotional support. The structure of program I found to fill the day, keep you busy and totally change my mindset about life not just drugs. The night staff were very friendly and welcoming whilst I was settling in on my first week. Georgena and Liberty in particular went out of there way to get me through the nights when they got tough. As my body was cleansing itself working through the program I was taken ill and Georgina assisted with making all the external appointments and making sure I had the best possible care. The whole team at Linwood feel like family and I will be eternally grateful for getting me clean and giving me a second chance in life. I am now 28 days clean and ready to enjoy a life without drugs. I will always be an addict but thanks to Linwood and Narcotics Anonymous I am leaving with a sponsor and meetings in place, ready to use the 12 step programme and my knowledge to guide me. Thank you Linwood and everything you do.
