Public Rehab Closures Across England

We can reveal that back in 2013, 195 residential substance misuse services were available to help those in need of free treatment. As of 2019, only 118 treatment facilities remain active, a 40% closure rate in just six years. This is not good enough and we are working hard lobbying the Councils who are responsible for the allocation of the Government’s Public Health Grant to invest more in addiction treatment.
