COVID-19 Updates & Safety Precautions

In this time of uncertainty, one thing remains the same: that our number one priority is and will always be to protect and care for our clients, staff, families and friends.

The UKAT team are continually monitoring and responding to the pandemic as it evolves. We are taking every appropriate step in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Public Health England.

We remain committed to welcoming new clients in need of help, providing high-quality treatment to everyone in our care and serving our communities.

Update as of 25 February 2022

UKAT Group centres will continue to follow health and safety precautions to prevent the risk of COVID-19 entering our clinics. After a short isolation period and proof of a negative PCR test, we will admit all clients into the group treatment sessions.

To ensure the safest possible treatment and care, the following COVID-19 prevention control measures are in place upon arrival to any UKAT Group centre:

  • Wash hands thoroughly
  • Wear a mask
  • Temperature check
  • Take a lateral flow test and a PCR test
  • Stay in one of the UKAT Group’s single bedrooms until a negative PCR test result is returned

To support our clients leaving treatment during the Coronavirus crisis, we have launched weekly online aftercare support sessions. All clients leaving treatment during this time will be given access and the support they need to start their recovery journey.
